Climate change is real. It has happened throughout earth’s history. Many scientists claim that by emitting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, humans are causing gloabl warming. However, over 30,000 scientists have signed the Oregon Petition to say that there is no man-made global warming, and thus would argue that any recent changes in the climate would be due to natural causes, most likely from solar activity. Away from the scientific debate, there are a number of lesser known reports dating back to the 1960s which may add new light to this subject.
The Report from Iron Mountain
In 1961 the Kennedy administration ordered that a Special Study Group be put together to determine the problems that would arise in the United States in a world without war, in effect a one-world government without borders. They produced the Report from Iron Mountain, which was eventually published in 1967 by Dial Press. It concluded that war serves necessary functions, economic, political, sociological, and ecological, and that substitutes for a war were needed, one of them being the threat of an environmental catastrophe, equal to the threat of war.
The report stated, in the context of environmental threats that “It is more probable, in our judgment, that such a threat will have to be invented, rather than developed from unknown conditions.” It must be noted that many regard this report to be hoax, although the recommendations given in the report have already been implemented to a large degree.
The Club of Rome
In 1968, one year after the release of the Report from Iron Mountain, the Club of Rome was formed. The Club of Rome is a global think tank made up of high level politicians including heads of state, UN officials and other powerful individuals. The group acts as a consultant to the United Nations, although because of its membership, it operates as the UN consulting itself.
In 1991 the Club of Rome published a report titled The First Global Revolution, which stated the following “In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.”
World Leaders Now Call for Global Governance to Fight Climate Change
In October 2009, Lord Christopher Monckton, former advisor to Margaret Thatcher warned that the treaty due to be signed at the then upcoming Copenhagen summit on climate change was to bring about a one-world government. Although the Copenhagen talks supposedly failed, the agenda is still on with future climate meetings in the pipeline.
Lord Monckton’s warning was confirmed by EU President Herman Van Rompuy who said in accepting his appointment as EU President that the Copenhagen conference would be a step towards “the global management of our planet." Many similar statements from other world leaders could be cited.
In an uncanny resemblance to the Club of Rome’s statement that “the real enemy is humanity”, the former head of the UK’s Sustainable Development Commission Jonathan Porritt warned couples who have more than two children are ‘irresponsible’ due to the carbon emissions they’ll produce, and advocated abortion as a means to fight global warming, as reported by The Times.
With an agenda clearly stated in all these reports, is it now time to question the genuineness of climate science?
